How It Works
LPR Detection to Barrier Command
MultiController is the connection between your cameras, Metrici, your Wiegand access control system, your barriers — handling decisions from all.

LPR or RFID Event
A camera detects a licence plate, or a Wiegand card is presented. The MultiController receives the event from either source.

Database Check
The plate or card ID is checked against the Metrici database and/or the Wiegand Command Station — depending on the configured scenario.

Access Decision
If authorised, the MultiController sends a command via its digital outputs. It can open up to two barriers simultaneously, control traffic lights or trigger any other connected hardware.

Event Logged
Every detection, card read, decision and command is logged in the Metrici database and the Wiegand Command Center. Full audit trail, usable as a timesheet.

Everything in One Device
Two worlds — LPR and Wiegand — unified in a single controller with a single management interface.
LPR + Wiegand Bridge
Synchronises license plate data with Wiegand card IDs in one interface. Associate a plate with a card — one badge solution for everything.
RFID Capability
Second generation adds built-in RFID reading alongside Wiegand 26-bit protocol. One device handles cards, fobs and LPR.
Controls 2 Barriers
Commands up to two barriers simultaneously via digital outputs. Can also drive traffic lights, sensors or any other connected hardware.
Multiple Protocols
HTTP over TCP/IP, RAW over UDP/IP, Wiegand 26 bits and RFID. Wi-Fi and Ethernet both supported for flexible installation.
Per-Employee Settings
Individual access rights per user. Segment access by gate, level, time or zone. Manage all settings from any computer on the network.
Unlimited ID Cards
No limit on Wiegand ID cards stored in the database. Suitable for large facilities and organisations of any size.
Timesheet Capable
Every plate and card detection is timestamped. The event log can be used directly as a working hours timesheet for staff.
Companion Camera
Pair a second camera for a different angle on each event. Both images stored together in the database for complete evidence.
Multi-Tasking
A single controller can handle multiple jobs simultaneously — reading inputs and commanding outputs across different scenarios at once.
