The collaboration introduces a highly specialized automation workflow powered by Metrici's Large Language Model (LLM), developed and adapted to streamline, secure, and accelerate the processing and registration of certification documents.
This is yet another project in which Metrici delivers a LLM solution adapted to the specific of the client, as one can not use the same model in all implementations. The requests and the needs of each partner are different and so are their expectations.
A Fully Automated, End-to-End Workflow
Certind presented its challenges with the actual workflow for the registration within international bodies and wanted to know if Metrici could help, taking into account its experience in AI, LLM and automation. True to its value, Metrici promised and delivered a custom solution.
As Certind audits different companies and emits certificates, these acts must be registered in the international database to be recognized worldwide and applicable. Previously, Certind's reporting procedures involved human operators manually reviewing each certificate, extracting relevant information, and uploading it to the IAF (International Accreditation Forum) platform. This task demanded precision and hours of repetitive work done by human operators.
Metrici learned how to deliver the right LLM for every project, adapted to the conditions and the requests on the field. Each task has its characteristics and Metrici already has the experience necessary from all previous projects to choose and develop a neuronal model suited for that. As usual, a lot of the experience from former projects was implemented at Certind headquarters for best results.
Metrici developed a new workflow and with Metrici's LLM-based system, the entire reporting procedure chain is automated, and Metrici can read the certificate no matter in what languages it is redacted, as Certind is present across continents, from Europe, South America to Asia.
All certificates issued by Certind are generated and stored in a designated folder within their internal infrastructure. They are uploaded in Metrici Interface where Metrici starts reading one by one.
Upon detection of a new certificate, the LLM loads the PDF file and performs data extraction. Optical character recognition is combined with syntax check designed specifically for Certind certification documents. The system identifies and extracts structured metadata such as:
Extracted data are validated in a known certificate format and converted into clean text and JSON structure.
Using a secure API integration, Metrici pushes the validated certificate data directly into the IAF platform, ensuring smooth compliance with international reporting requirements.
What is really relevant is the fact that Metrici LLM knows what is the main document, which are the annexes or if a document is a follow-up act to another one. The solution can be adapted and implemented in other areas where paper or digital documents must be put in an electronic format or have a database.

The International Accreditation Forum (IAF) is a worldwide association of accreditation bodies and other bodies interested in conformity assessment in the fields of management systems, products, processes, services, personnel, validation and verification and other similar programmes of conformity assessment.
Technical Reliability and Security
The solution is built on Metrici's latest LLM architecture, optimized for domain-specific document understanding. As usual, as most of Metrici deliveries, this is a custom project in which besides the LLM model a special interface was designed where all documents are listed in an easy to access format and searches can be made for ISO standards, company name or other data.
One must take into account that Metrici knows how to choose and deliver the right LLM for every client so that the cost of implementation remains low. But the LLM by itself won't be any help without the right software assistant. Metrici excels here also as it can accompany with the adequate one so that the two work together for the benefit of the client. LLM and software development are done and tailored for every partner according to the wanted outputs.

Starting from these, besides the needed software, Metrici also delivered to Certind a custom made server where the LLM runs and performs its duty. What differentiates Metrici even more from others is the fact that it can deliver an enclosed eco-system. All applications, software, LLM, analysis, interface and outputs run locally and are secured within Certind's own network and no data is shared with third parties. It is a security feature useful and which was demanded previously by our partners so Metrici implemented it here too.
