Metrici Unveils Powerful Software Upgrade Enhancing AI Video Analytics Capabilities Across Multiple Industries

Metrici, a leading innovator in AI-powered video analytics, is proud to announce a major software upgrade to its intelligent video analysis platform. This update significantly enhances performance, accuracy, and flexibility across key functionalities including License Plate Recognition (LPR), Parking Management, QR Code and Container Code Recognition, Vehicle and People Detection, and Industrial Object Recognition custom applications.

Advanced License Plate Recognition (LPR):

  • Improved features, recognition under challenging lighting conditions, and broader support for international plate formats and multiple updates.

  • Added: Search by info or parts of info field for LPR - "SEARCH BY INFO" button

  • All blank spaces automatically eliminated from entries

    Car make identification (69 producers worldwide)

    Color recognition– 12 colors for vehicles


    Multi upgrade to Parking for LPR module - Tenants settings upgrade

  • Dedicated single web page interface for parking tenants to see their available parking spots online anytime for their tenant only. They can make informed decisions to head to the parking lot or not. As it is known a tenant can make an action list for its license plates as big as it wants, even if they have a limited preserve spaces. Explanation: at the request of our clients, this option was introduced. A big office building has as tenants the companies renting a space. However, each company has a limited number of parking spaces and not for all employees. The web page allows the employee to see live if they still have a parking place available for their parent tenant or other colleagues were there before them.

  • When a license plate is added for a tenant, a warning message is displayed if that particular number is allocated to another one and can not be duplicated.

  • Search for a license plate added for Parking for LPR/Vehicles menu and not only billing

  • Added "Add vehicle", "Drop vehicle" buttons at Parking for LPR module, Billing menu. These add a vehicle or drops one from the parking without opening the barrier. A pop-up will allow the user to type the license plate.

    Tenants settings upgrade for imports,exports, administration and more

    Better calculation and display of free/busy spaces, tenants administration and relations between them

    Improved settings for parent and child tenants

  • Better calculation of relations between number of parking spaces in the "family" tree, better display of information.

  • Parking for LPR module, better display and calculation of places for tenants and subtenants - Parking Spaces dashboard will display number of occupied/ free spaces and number which was defined for that tenant.

  • Improved way a subtenant is displayed along the tenant parent.

    Flow menus introduced across all Interface modules

  • Added: possibility to display multiple events, cameras and locations in Flow menu interface and choose between

    Weighing for LPR module upgraded

  • Updated the way the Weighing for LPR module works. The vehicle arrives to the weighing station - a trigger is generated - be it entry or exit by human operator or external - Barix or PPD engine. If it is an entry, the weight is read, if is exit the weight is updated An operator may edit the info field with client's name or type of cargo and generates a PDF ticket.

  • Added for Weighing web module:

    1) Build a list of Cargo Types (add / edit / delete)

    2) Build a list of Clients (add / edit / delete)

    3) At each client build a list of number plates (add / edit / delete)

    4) When a truck is seen, the information about the Client and the Cargo type will be added automatically to the weighing event

    5) At every event, the Cargo type and the Client should be changeable by drop-down lists

    6) In the list of events the following filters were added: license plate, cargo type, client; and search by text in the “Information” field that can be added custom text

    7) The Cargo type and the Client printed on the weighing ticket, together with two blank places for signatures

    Expanded Code Recognition Capabilities:

  • Robust and accurate QR Code and Container Code Recognition in high-speed environments, ideal for ports, logistics hubs, and warehouse automation.


    Better display in Live View

  • Better display and use of space for live view interface multiple cameras when display resolution is over 1080 pixels

    Superior Vehicle and People Detection:

  • Optimized DNN models boost precision in identifying and tracking individuals and cars, even in crowded or dynamic scenes.

    Industrial Object Recognition & Counting:

  • Designed for factory environments, the system now offers more accurate inspection, object detection, defect spotting, and product counting in assembly lines or Quality Assurance stations in custom projects.

    More alarms integration with Milestone VMS

    Smart Parking Management:

  • Enhanced vehicle tracking, occupancy monitoring, and integration capabilities for seamless automation of parking systems.
