A new hardware product
from Metrici.

Metrici LPR has launched an in-house built radar to better integrate the offer for its clients. The gadget is useful for industrial parks, residential areas, and municipalities where there is a speed limit and the administrator wants to monitor the offenders.

Metrici LPR saves the car's photo along with the top speed registered by the Metrici Observer Radar. This hardware solution was developed as a direct answer to clients' needs.

The radar works with speeds up to 200 km/h and is situated in a weatherproof case. Observer Radar and Metrici LPR work together to save the top speed of every vehicle that passes through the monitored zone.

Integrated with the Metrici LED Display, the system provides real-time driver feedback and traffic calming — reducing speeding without enforcement or fines.

How It Works

Radar Measures Speed — The Observer Radar detects a passing vehicle and measures its speed instantly. Works in all conditions.

LPR Captures the Plate — Metrici LPR reads the license plate and gets data from the radar. Speed, plate number, photo and timestamp are stored together as a single event.

Driver Alerted — If the speed exceeds the configured limit, the Metrici LED Display instantly shows the vehicle's speed and a slow-down message, visible to the driver.

Full Report Generated — All detections are logged in the Metrici database alongside normal LPR reports. Speed violations are filterable and exportable.
