Pescariu Sports & Spa
Mission
Pescariu Sports and Spa is the biggest luxury club for fitness, tennis and spa in Bucharest. The clients can spend here all day doing their preferred sports (swimming, tennis, aerobic, cycling, squash, fitness, football), relaxing or just enjoying a good meal at the restaurants
During summer season, you can enjoy a day at the pool. Also, the clients can use the newest technology in body remodelling.
At night, the visit can end up in Fratelli night club, a leader of its own category.
The locations has an area with 6 tennis fields, a building of 3000 square meters for cloakrooms, a fitness area, outside pools, a playground for children, two restaurants, a football field, squash fields, massage and spa area, a beauty saloon and Fratelli night club, after an investment of over 5 million Euros.
The club has over 1500 members, and the number of clients rises 10% every year. Except for two outdoor pools, the access is based on fidelity cards.
SolutionWith so many facilities inside the club and a restaurant open for public, thousands of clients come daily at Pescariu Sports & Spa. The club has two entrances and two exits: the clients can use any of these to enter or exit and the owner wanted an elegant solution for a better management.
As it is such a luxury club, the owner wanted nothing less from the license plates recognition solutions. The integrators proposed Metrici LPR as its speed of the recognition is very useful for club's clients. Also, the reports and statistics menu was a plus.
As the owner had high standards for every acquisition they made for the club, and as the cameras and the barriers at the entrance were the first thing a client would see, they wanted the best cameras. They wanted the cameras not only to be good regarding technical aspects, but also have a good look.
As a result, the integrator installed four Axis P1425 cameras and Skidata Parking System.

Results
After the installation, the regular clients, the subscribers, would no longer need to stay in line to enter or exit the complex. The barrier opens every time Metrici LPR detects a number that is confirmed by the Skidata System.
As for the occasional clients, their license plate number is printed on the receipt when they prepare to exit the facility and introduced automatically in the management system. When Metrici LPR detects the number it will instantly open the barrier. Thus the client doesn't need to validate the ticket.
The system brings speed and comfort for the clients. As for the owner, he enjoys a safety feature and has statistics, reports and information that are included in Metrici LPR software.
